Animago Award & Conference 2011

Animago

Roman & Daniel talked about Setting up a business in the games industry at the Animago Award & Conference 2011.

Their presentation gave an overview on the biggest challenges for Start-ups in the games industry as well as best practices how to deal with them. They covered following topics: idea and vision, core team and employees, daily business, product development, financing, legal protection, work-life and balance.

It was a great conference - thanks again!

Last week Norbert attended the Making Games Play Social 2011 conference in Munich, Germany. Next to interesting roundtables and great presentations (e.g. Stephanie Kaiser from Wooga with her talk "How to take care about monsters: Virality and Engagement in Germany's most successful Social Game") it was a good opportunity to get to know some of the brightest minds of the international social gaming world. We will definitely attend again next year and so should you.

Quo Vadis / DGT 2011

Last week the Quo Vadis / DGT took place again in our very dear homtown Berlin. We've been there and it was a blast (especially the nights)! Plenty of nice people, plenty of nice talks. If couldnt be there, check out the following video (in german only, sorry) and make sure to be there next year.
